The Spectacle Cloth is most effective when used in the second step of a process that requires two steps. When cleaning most surfaces, we recommend beginning with one of our cleaning cloths, such as a Viva Ultra Cloth or Hedgehog Fibre, and then following up with a Polishing Cloth to dry the surface and leave it spotless, streak-free, and shining. This will ensure that the surface is completely clean. Remember to fold the cloth before using it, and after cleaning it, always hang it up to dry. All cloths need to be washed and rinsed on a regular basis. It is possible that it will not collect as much grime and dirt if its due to be washed. It is recommend to have a few cloths so you can easily rotate them when some of them are in the wash. Although our Spectacle Cloth is mostly used to shine up glasses, phones and laptops it can also be utilised on its own. Surfaces like glass and mirrors, which don't require a lot of washing or a thorough cleaning, show the most improvement after using this method. If you find yourself staring at a mirror covered in fingerprints or windows that are streaked, do this: Apply some water to the surface using a very small amount of our ph-neutral detergent Protective Formula, and then promptly wipe it clean using one of our Polishing Cloths. Please note: The Protective Formula is highly concentrated, so please only use a very small amount to avoid streaks.
